Tiny Lumber is a company after my own heart. Their motto is “Find Joy in the Tiny Things” and that is exactly how I try to live my life every day. They are a wooden jewelry company out of California that strives to bring a little “whimsy” to your day.

I never saw myself having a life here. I had visited southern cities several times in my life, but I never thought I would end up in one. We have now been stationed below the Mason-Dixon line since we met seven years ago. Y’all…the South is amazing. There are truly so many reasons to love The South. We were racing around the house, tearing through drawers and ripping clothes off hangers. This deployment provided the least amount of heads up we had received yet; less than twenty-four hours and he was leaving. There was a lot of stress and a lot of holding back tears, but it was a huge relief to know that since this wasn’t our first rodeo, we were at least prepared. Read more
Just keep swimming, just keep swimming. Dory’s sing-songy voice plays in my head daily at the moment. It doesn’t help that Vivienne is going through a fish phase and screams “Dory, DORY!” constantly, while wielding her mini mop like a samurai sword around the living room.
